Good News!

We have been in Albuquerque for 3 months.

Can you believe it?

Time does fly!

It goes without saying that I miss my family like crazy.

Thank goodness for Delta, Skype, Face Time, 

iPhones and the US Postal Service.

Danielle & Daniel are really good at 

texting me pictures of the kids.
I need more please.

I am amazed and know it's only by God's grace 

that we love it out here.

I grew up in the city so moving here and having everything so convenient makes life so lovely.

I have some good news.

We have settled on a church. The music is a bit loud for my liking but Mark likes it. He likes any and ALL music. 

The pastor is amazing. 

He captures my attention from the second 

he opens his mouth until the end.

If you understand my A.D.D. then you realize what an accomplishment this is.
His heart for God and others has already challenged me.

The church runs 5 services and has 10,000 members.

It really doesn't seem that large.

Amazing thing... the church only began 14 years ago.

God is really doing a work.

We joined a Bible study group which meets once a week.

I have some more good news!

Mark started this job in November and has received 2, yes 2 raises already. You gotta love the government!

He called me this morning and announced the 2nd raise but doesn't know why yet. His boss really likes him.

More good news!

He's been riding his bike to work and found out that they will reimburse him for bike equipment, maintenance & clothes if he rides 2 weeks out of a month.

Kristen is coming to see me next week.

This is one excited mother.
